My roses get these black spots on them. The leaves will soon turn yellow and fall off. What causes this and how can i stop it?
Thanks for your help

Almost all my Roses are looking bad. The leaves are getting black spots then falling off, they look terrible. The Roses are pretty but I have no leaves. Can you help me?

It's a condition known as "black spot" and is caused by a fungus. Go to your favorite garden store, Home Depot, or Lowes and you should be able to find a fungicide that you can spray on or dust on to get rid of it or control it. You will have to be spray or dust every 10-14 days,it is not easy or quick to get rid of. I have had real good luck with "Rose Pride" made by Ortho which I get at Lowes.Don't give up ,I fight this every year, all summer long.I have 9 roses and have noticed this season that one of them is very obviously resistant to black spot as it is green and the others have the black spot. Most books say it is cased by damp rainy weather or getting water on the leaves if you are watering with a hose. Best to water early morning so water drops or vapors will soon dry off and not stay on the leaves all night.

Sounds like Black Spot to me. What you need is a fungicide called Ortho Rosepride Funginex. The active ingrediant is Triforine.(61/25). We purchase ours at a farm store in Sapulpa Okla. for $14.97 per pint. Just follow the directions on the lable and it will cure the problem. ~Good Luck~
