I thought might be of interest to a number of people on this board who keep goats.

What is goat meat like to eat?
I like lamb, is there a comparison there?
Does anybody know where I can get some to
try out? We're going to a barbeque in a couple
weeks, maybe it'd be fun to try something
different and maybe freak out some
coworkers at the same time.

How close are ya ta Marion Ky? I know twop Amish fellers over there that raise them meat goats. Both seem to do quite well. I know they won't sell the Nannies. Thjey keep em ta breed, castrate the young billies and turn em loose in the brush, at least what is left of it. They got the cleanest wood lots in the community. The sheep take care of the grass.

'bout 1200 miles, Mapquest says 20 hours
drive. I suspect it'd take me longer than that. I
need 10 hours to get to camp and thats only
450 miles.
I should have said before, I'm in the peoples
republic of Taxachusettes.
