Our Foundering Fathers, and hogs

ya know, Ive heard that nearly all of our Founding Faters was farmers. But ive come to believe that they were then, what we would today call agribusiness, for their times. I mean, a real farmer knows, that if you try to raise, say, one pig, itall eat when its ready, be slow to grow, mope around, and generally grow at the same rate as a runt. If you have 2 pigs, all theyll do is fight, bicker, and try to hog all the feed. THey grow alright, but not as good as they could, if they seteled down and ate what they needed and not worry about the other one beating them to a kernal. Now, when you raise 3 pigs, they each soon learn, that they cant muscle out 2 by themselves, and so, learn to live with one another, and eat what they need as fast as they can and let it go at that. Had our Founding Fathers been real farmers, they woulda realized that and founded 3 national political parties rather than just 2. Just my 3 cents worth

i don't know who's in charge of the democrats this year, but if they can't offer more than kerry & edwards, there'll soon be 1 party. the convention generation is retiring in pine boxes & all there is left is corporate funding. i hate to hear death rattles but both parties are obsolete as last week's whigs. how long can they teeter?

There were more than 2 parties back then. There are more than 2 now. But the 2 big ones drown the others out.

There need be no more than one Party and that would be "ARNOLDS" Party. When elected in 08,and He surely will be,Pork Barrel programs will END! Vacations to distant Lands at taxpayers expense,Knee Pads for interns and Cigars will nolonger be accptable purchases! Pork (excuse the vulgarity Nephew) will no longer be served! Period.Soy Sausage,HootOwl Ham,Buzzard Bacon,Rhubarb Roast, and such shall replace Porcine Flesh for Food.
It will be a utopian Day for ALL when "ARNOLD" is seated in the Oval Sty.
