to a ranch retreat for some much needed rest and wide open spaces. A change in life would also be nice. My previous post on this subject did not make it on this board. I wonder why?

Don't forget to bring Norman back with you.

If you just want to do some dung stepping I can send a fresh cowpie and you can stay home.

Just bring a LOT of sun screen. Weather has been VERY hot. About 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Also has been VERY windy lately. Dry is an understatement acros the whole state.
Prescott this time of year will be in the low 90`s to high 80`s and the nights will be near perfect.
As the Crow flies we are about 150 miles or so south and about 50 miles west of Phoenix.
Have a nice time and don`t say I didn`t warn you it will be hot!!!!!!!

Thanks for the advice. Guess there's no need to bring a jacket along?

IT'S ALL ATTITUDE, Ron/pa    Posted 06-08-2002 at 15:49:57       [Reply]  [No Email]
Joe, I have lived from this hardscrabble, rock farm, to New England, to Albany NY. I have visited your home town weekly. I still run Eastern Jersey, (Bellville, I could see the towers burning on 9-11) and I have found for the last 25 years that it is attitude, if you keep that good old farm bred, ranch raised attitude, that crazy world that you live in will wonder just what the he!! you are up to!!!!!!
AAAAAnd you will always feel like you are the
farm/ranch boy that you have always known that you are.
Enjoy the vacation my friend, you have earned it.
Ron

Joe as I said before, don't fall of your horse, we need you on the air. Don't get hurt out there in the wild west.
Later Bob

Have a great vacation. EIEIO and I went for a weeks ride on a ship awhile back and all we did was rest. It was the best 3 grand we ever spent.
Learn to let THEM waite on YOU!

I spent a year in NY city one night!
Great place to be from......

You didn't hafta go that far away. Although I wouldn't recommend coming to NH for at least a week unless you're overly fond of the sound of thousands of motorcycles, many of them with no baffles. If my vehicle made the noise those things make, I'd have a DE ticket real quick ":^(

Cowboy Joe    Posted 06-08-2002 at 09:32:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yes I do have to go that far away. That's the whole idea.

I hear New Zealand is real nice, especially in September and October. That is my dream vacation.

My cousin has a place in Bisbee, AZ. Says I should come visit in Sept or Oct when it's not so damn hot.

remember anywhere is a better place to spend vacation than home. But I do believe you will suffer from heat in az. this tues. we have relatives coming from Phoenix . they can,t wait to come here in summertime but want me to return trip in winter . good arrangement have a good one and the snakes are low to yhe ground so if you ride them you won,t have far to fall.

Cowboy Joe    Posted 06-08-2002 at 18:49:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'll be near Prescott. I hear it's cooler than Phoenix.

Like the old Buck Owens song goes - "I wouldn't live in New York City if they game me the whole dang town; talk about a bummer, it's the biggest one around..." Ain't that the truth.
