Well, now you know!! We can't talk about the greatest tractor of all the (DELETED) but we can talk about other great tractors like the Hixton Prairie Dominator and Boner-Arbuch Uni-Wheel model B. grove r, I think, is restoring a Prairie Dominator to like new condition. I know he is looking for the first left transmografier for it. Wear your ETD patch with pride. There, I did it!!! Probably in trouble, NOW!

Check with Calvin, I'm pretty sure he's got a spare transmogrifier laying around, if Hobbes hasn't sold it for tigger snacks...

Hi, Ron, [seems as though I am addressing myself]! welcome to the company of the best people around, contrary to public belief, we do not bite, nor do we indulge in negative comments about each other, life is way too short for that! As I said, the company here is excelent, and it gives me great pleasure to be able to converse with ALL of these people, though you will note that some are inclined, shall we say, to spend more time filling the spreader, then driving the tractor? Not mentioning any names, of course, but, you will note in F14's post below, that he seems rather inclined to pile "it" rather high on my doorstep! Now, the gentleman realy means well, but, please keep in mind that the medication he is on, has been noted by the food and drug administration, to induce euphoric side affects, this coupled with the use of "Rose Colored" glasses, when viewing this forum, creates the "Einstine", [sp], "effect" about other listers. Today, poor fellow, must have also bumped his head on the bedpost, now, he views my grade three level of schooling as a doctorate in Entomectic Dimorphosism. Please, everyone, extend sincere condolences and sympathy towards this kindhearted and well meaning individual. Have a gooder,R.E.L.

F14...Did not either!    Posted 06-22-2002 at 08:40:04       [Reply]  [No Email]
Haven't had my medicine today.

Which, come to think of it, explains a few things...

I'd tell ya, but then I'd have to (deleted) ya...

Just kidding. A discussion was started some time back on the merits of a particular brand and model of tractor. Now, some folks will tell ya that the discussion occasionally wandered from the strict confines of the truth. (Not the case, everything ever said about that tractor was the Gospel Truth!) and one or two folks objected to the use of the forum involved (not this one) for what they considered frivolous communications. (Obviously, they'd never driven the tractor in question) The long and short of it is that the main participants (or perpetrators, if you prefer) were politely asked to refrain from annoying the unenlightened with further discussions on the subject.

One of the greatest minds on the planet was involved in this discussion, and while ordinary good taste, manners and a proper upbringing dictated that he accede to the wishes of the Moderator, he also recognized brilliance when he saw it, and took it upon himself to create a patch commemorating the occasion, and bestow it upon the folks who contributed to this memorable discussion.

It humbles me considerably to have been a recipient of the aforementioned patch, which occupies a place of honor on my bookshelf, with my other Yesterday's Tractors memorabilia.

Now, aren't ya sorry ya asked?

F14...Dang near forgot    Posted 06-22-2002 at 04:41:10       [Reply]  [No Email]
I occasionally get two or more brain cells to function simultaneously, and during one of those rare periods, it occurred to me to safeguard the priceless information being revealed on the tractor in question.

It has been archived and is available at the link below.

By gum DC sure makes sense ta Me now that I've seen it. Might modify My Tracktalater so as ta use that system tho it do seem a shame ta depart from true originality.

and prayin' for some rain to break this humidity. Don't really need the water, but the air is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

Appropriate or inappropriate, I thourghly enjoyed reading the whole rendition as presented.
Had not thought to pose the question but so very glad it was posed. Sometimes a seemingly dumb question can bring out a wealth of Sunshine.

Some of the posts on that thread approached pure artistry, IMHO. Glad you enjoyed it.
