I am wanting to know how you figure feet by feet or yards by yards to get a .31 of a acre. In a square block. Thanks!!

It would be approximately 116.2049913 ft on each side. ;^)

Janice:

did anyone get back to you on the acreage formula? We are buying a building lot with
different length sides, and there is some confusion about the actual acreage.

Thanks,
sue

Steve- Like Cal sez, 43,560 square feet is an acre. Multiply that by 0.31 and you should get 13503.6 square feet. Find the square root of that and you get the lengths of the sides to make a 0.31 acre square. Get your calculator out and see what you come up with as the answer. Grins, IHank

Damn Hank,

We's just dumb country folk. We don't know nuthin' 'bout no square roots. Do those grow on square trees? Please explain in language I can understand.

An acre equals 43,560 square feet. If that helps.
