Septic System

I have an ET septic system with two drain fields. (I know it is E-something...I think it is T)...anyway

Why isn't that Rid-X stuff good for this type of system. I have been advised to "just leave it alone and keep the hair out of the drains".

Any advice?

A properly designed and installed system should give many years of service without anything. Grease, like from cooking and harsh chemicals cause troubles.

After web surfing I found Evapotranspiration for ET. Don't know this type system but maybe this will help.
