Hi Everyone, well day is almost done, still have critters to feed and dinner, post on E-Bay and smoke, smoke, smoke. Anyway I found this site looking for help and it was the best I have found. Since you cannot officially join until 72 hours smoke free I was reading some stories and looking a some pictures - very, very sad. I sure hope I can do this. I just wish I did not crave that darn morning cig so bad. That I think will be my downfall. Sorry didn't mean to have this turn into a smoking deal. I realize this is not the site for that, will refrain from it.

Anyway I hope each of you have a wonderful evening and that tomorrow will bring rain where needed and sunshine where needed.

Now EIEIO, Ya ain't sposed to be talking about down falls!!! Ya sposed to be thinkin positve about quiting them nasty things. It ain't goin to be THAT bad! Well I quit years ago and know lots a ol boys who did to and some of em was girls, too. Don't be like ol Herman Phipps who used to run cattle over on the Vertigris. He got to huppin and hollering with some of the boys over to Saddle Sally's on a Saturday night they all decided to stop smoking and the first one to start back had to shoot his little finger off his ownself with his own pistol...... Well that's another story. Just don't be so all fired ready give up before you start.

That there story sorta reminds me of the time we was all sittin at Molly Mules, and justa yacken our fool heads of til ole Molly comes up to us and slaps the ole ice pick right thar on the table, says first one open up their yap is going get a ice picken on their tongue - this was way before the pierced tongue days - well anyway I goes to open up the yap and - better stop now story gets a mite gruesome for some folks!!

I need all the encouragement I can. Guess I will just have to be like the Little Engine That Could.
One problem though Dennis will have to live with me for those first few terrible days. Maybe this won't be a problem, he might finally go outside and get his Honey-Dews done!!

The first few days are easy because you are preparing yourself now. Knowledge is power, you will succeed. It gets harder a week or two later when you start feeling better, you already know that. Get the patch.
