Not Smoking Killing ME

Okay here is the problem I miss that morning smoke, so for the past three days I have been up at about 4:30 am going right to the barns and working outside until about 9:30 or 10:00am. I have cleaned up the pig pen, caught one pig that escaped (I think I lost ten pounds on that one - got a rope around him and than had my pyr help) rewired their pallets and gate, sectioned off the sheep pen, moved the ducks pool and leveled it and refilled it and staked the sides, moved pallets so that it wasn't such a mess in one section. I told Dennis to buy some wood I may start building a leanto for my riding mower. I have never sweated or stunk so bad in my life. I shower and then try to get the old body to just move a little but I ain't smoking - is it worth it, I am going to end up being a battered, bruised, skinny, old lady that will need a wheelchair but I won't be smoking!!!???
Hope everyone else is doing good!!!

LOL, EI can I send you directions to our place? We have enough fixer-upper stuff here to keep you off the cancer sticks from here on out. We'd be willing to let ya come on out and do as much fencing, painting, mucking and brushhogging as you'd like, strictly for your own good, of course! *g*

Seriously, if you haven't killed any of your dearly beloveds by now (and they haven't expressed nor acted upon the desire to strangle you) you are doing real fine. Keep it up!

LOVE the background moosic. My wife and I call 'Bony Fingers' our song. Useta hang out at a diner with the jukebox gizmo at each table, and drink coffee, eat their banana creme pie and play that song over and over again when we was dating and first married. Dang, that's been a while back. Thanks for the memories, and HANG IN THERE! It's definitely worth it, and look at all the chores yer getting done!

Just remember in a couple days you'll start
smelling better.
In all honesty theres nothing worse smelling
than somebody about 3 days out from
smoking. Seems like the crud finally starts to
leech out through your skin. Gads, when my
Mom got out of the hospital after her heart
attack she STANK! I called the Doc because I
really thought something was wrong, he said
"Oh thats normal when somebody quits
smoking."

Another note to keep you on the wagon.
Before my Mom quit I'd get 4 colds a year one
for each season. The year after she quit I got 3
which are really allergies and one cold. When
I went to college I got only 2 which is really just
allergies and I've been on that schedule ever
since. Remember, your smoking hurts those
around you too.

Well, it sounds to me like a snort or two of DeadCarp's uncle's Bloomer Solvent might could help calm ya down some. You ain't gonna die from not smoking. I've knowed at least twenty or so people who quit smoking and only a couple died. It'll get better, just don't get weak and start again.

Like Maggie Coventry used to say, "There's no such thing as caught up - there's always more to do"
You think not smoking gets things done - wait til your puter crashes! Talk about drive ya nuts! LOL
Hey, you volunteered to lead this parade - don't you dare drop no baton or we'll be marching in circles back here! "Yat - tada dadadadadadada dot - da"
