My great granny always fixed me green tea, It's suppose to be good for you, I'm 49 and have always loved it, also I've never been sick in my life, Thank the Lord! My Granny lived to be 80. I drink my tea hot! I'm from the North, in Michigan, But I've lived in Louisiana for 33 years, And married to Raymond for 31 years, he won't drink any kind of tea. Thought you'd like to know, Deb in denham springs, La.

No, never did. I think that's something they do up around New York. If you ask for tea in a cafe around here they wouldn't even think to ask if you wanted that hot or cold. I have heard some folks that talk funny specify hot tea tho. But they were just passing thru on their way to California I think.

Yeah, its pretty plain. Sometimes I like to
"spice" mine up a bit with a dose of old rotgut
for flavor.

Now if you want to talk Dargeeling, which folks
from India consider healthy with an almost
religious fervor, I'm interested.

I personally don't think that green tea has much flavor, but I do believe that it's very healthy. I simply make my iced tea as I normaly would and add 7or8 bags of green tea while brewing. Tastes the same I'm getting the benefits!

I've had it, can't say it's something I'd make much of an effort to get.

Much prefer Earl Grey.
