Congratulations, you have faced, and mastered one of the biggest challenges, now you have the problem of wanting one, and you don't know why?

Scooterhead you don't really have to start over, you quit five days ago except for one half of a cigarette. If it would have been a pack than maybe you would have to start over. I think that is fair, what about you?? Heck I would have smoked cigarette butts at the start but I had watered down the trash so they were all wet. Every try to dry a ciagrette butt out in the microwave - don't work.

I hope you stomped the $h!t out of it when you put it out. Heck I may just have a cigarette today or tomorrow or whenever but I don't think it would be a start over, it is just a little slip.

By the power vested in me as one of your assistant conductors on your NS Train I give you back your July 8th NS Day except for 1/2 of a cigarette. You are working too hard to start over.

Anybody out there riding this train or just watching us ride it disagree?? We will put it up to a vote!!

Hi, SH, EO, you are right on the money on this one EO! the fact that it tasted like sh--, proves that SH is WINNING!!! Did the exact same thing when I quit, though it was quite a while later! in fact, for several years after I quit, I would have a "drag".....just couldn't believe how terrible they taste!!! this all just reinforces the effort you have put into this venture, this is not like quiting drinking, where if you have a drink, you are hooked again! Hell, man, you have crossed the the first hurdle, and they get a lot easier from here on in, I don't know much of anything, but this is one I'll bet the "ranch" on, just go whith that terrible taste, hang on to it like life, and you will make it!!! Have a gooder, R.E.L.

I agree with ya EIEIO. I told you up front I've been backsliding a little bit, but every time I break down and have a smoke they taste more and more lousy.
