I'm having a problem with a cotton mouth eating my eggs,, I was told to put moth balls around the perimiter of my pens,, but I still lost some of the eggs that in one of my pens. I beleive this may because my hen is sitting on her eggs on the ground,, My questions is? Is there anything that I can put around my pens that will keep snakes from crossing & going in my pen? thank you very much. Mrs. $tubs

You can get wooden eggs from someplace like Wal-mart in the craft dept. Make sure the snake eats
the fake egg first. It won't be able to digest the egg & will die. We put sulfur all around our
property. You can buy it at feed stores, etc. My
husband gets it free from a place that loaded/un-
loaded in trucks or trains & so much spilled on the ground that there's still lots left.

go to the feed store and buy a few glass eggs. place them near around the nest where snake will get them first. his first one will be his last one.
