If you're stuck in the house on a stormy or snowy
day--rent "Princess Diaries" with Julie Andrews.
Pop Popcorn and enjoy! Great show for all the generations--Grandparents, Parents, Grandkids. (G rating) Watched it with my daughter last night, very refreshing!

God; I can't believe that movie is following me on the i-net also. My sister is getting remarried and that is all she watches. She made all the girls in her wedding party watch it so they could learn some stupid wave in the movie. My wife ended up likeing the movie and now she watches it. Must be a great chick flick. Thank god for my garage. I myself prefer my movie last night. Run Silent, Run Deep.

Bored last night, nuthin of interest on TV,rewatched "The Straight Story".The fact based story of elderly Alvin Straight, who traveled from Western Iowa to Southern WI by garden tractor to visit his sick/estranged brother. No "Independence Day" for action, just a nice warm fuzzy different movie.

Thanks for bringing that up here Joe. We saw it at the theater, ran for a long time but only in a few. Rented it last week too, We realy liked it as we do most of the ones Farnsworth did, too bad it was his last. When I heard about some big tractor ride across Iowa I emailed the radio station hoping it was in his honour but instead it was about some guy who bought a tractor and got lost driving it home a mile and a quarter or something. It would be fitting to honour Alvin with such an event I feel he is as big a HERO as most who are recognized.
Later Bob

Now I would like that movie, too. No, I didn't
think of the Princess Diaries as a chick-flick--
as the 1966 Mustang convertible in the garage bridged the generation gap! Also, the girl is not exactly like her parents, but is spirited like
her grandmother!
