Hello! I would love to have penpals from Amish women to enlighten me on thier way of life and living. Just visiting by letter or e-mail from any women who want to share craft ideas, or just to pass a little time. I enjoy Laura Ingalls Wilder books and love planting flowers and working in the yard. Please write if similar interests.

I too am applaud the families that lost their children in the school house shoot out recently. I grew up in NJ, and my father worked in the Dutch Country with his job. We became friends with a family over the years and since I was a little girl I always admired their faith, values and traditions. I wish the rest of the world would use them as mentors and I think the world would be a better place. I wish I could write to one via regular mail. If you know of a way, please let me know. I live in SC now, and use all the amish recipes in the MANY cookbooks I have. Thank jah for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, Holly

Did you ever get a reply from a mennonite woman pen pal? Just wondering.

I would love to hear from any amish person to share their way of life with me and to just create a friendship with.

I have always been interested in the Amish way and have been looking for penpals as well. I have not had much luck. I would love to learn more about their lives! I love Laura Ingalls books and I have been cross stitching for years! I would love to chat about life/crafts/amish!

I would think it would be hard to contact by e-mail any Amish
women. Generally true Amish seclude themselves from outsiders.
They also do not have electricity, so powering a computer is kinda
hard to do. Menonites (Not sure on spelling) are a modern offspring of the Amish. Might be a little easier to contact. I can help
you on their way of living from personal observations, but not the
craft end.
