New Mexico is finally getting some rain! Not enough yet to break the drought so we are praying for more. But, we are starting to see tiny green shoots at the bottom of the buffalo grass out on the range! The wild animals will appreciate it, too. It has not been this dry here (and N.M. is a dry state) in the last 100 years. The elk look so incongruous with those huge antlers and skinny bodies! The birds have been feeding their babies with the cat kibbles on the back porch! So, we need all the rain we can get! Just so we don't get it all at once like in San Antonio!

Oh,yes, I have been on here before, lurker! And, where have YOU been, Dreamweaver? Haven't seen you on here since my two month bout in the hospital! I had a heck of a time checking the archives and gave up after so many pages. Can't keep up with the chatter! Where is IHank now?
