Very close in looks to my first car, a 40 Chevy coupe. I would sell my soul to have that car back. I think 39 is about right.

Belive yer right on DC,38 had headlights on nose,believe by 40 they were flush in fenders,I think 39 was the only yr they were fender mounted.

'37 had vertical grill they went to horizontal in '38 closer than that I can't tell
