What are friends for if we don't share important information with each other?  In this spirit of friendliness, I want you all to be aware of the next round expected mergers so you can get in on the ground floor and make some BIG bucks. Watch for these consolidations in late 2002 and make yourself a bundle:

1. Hale Business Systems, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Fuller Brush and W. R. Grace
Co. will merge and become Hale, Mary, Fuller, Grace.
2. Polygram Records, Warner Bros. and Zesta Crackers join forces and
become Polly, Warner Cracker.
3. 3M will merge with Goodyear and issue forth as MMMGood.
4. Federal Express is expected to join its major competitor, UPS,and
consolidate as Fed UP.
5. Fairchild Electronics and Honeywell Computers will become
Fairwell Honeychild.
6. Knotts Berry Farm and the National Org. of Women will become
Knott NOW!
7. Zippo Mfg., Audi Motor Car, Dofasco and Dakota Mining will merge to become, of course, ZipAudiDoDa; and,
8. Grey Poupon and Docker Pants are expected to become Poupon Pants.

Thanks for the advice. However, I invest in a mixture of low cost mutual funds for diversification. I've got over 100 grand invested in an intermediate bond fund. 400-500 bucks a month in extra income sounds pretty good to me. DIVERSIFY.

That's fine if you have money to invest. A lot of people in this country, myself included, are only a flat tire away from bankrupcy.

NO. I don't have a broker as such. I use and other "objective" sources to make investment decisions.

Just Gesting Joe. I use a good news letter MPL out of Toronto. Don't put anything into equities that you have a time frame for, if you are young enough you will clear okay. But your word says all DIVERSIFY. Been around the mile and a quarter a time or two.

Diversify may be the key word. But even then you can lose most of it.

I've got a better deal-Pcc-AL    Posted 07-28-2002 at 17:37:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'm gonna keep giving all my cash to my wife, then there is no uncertainty as to whether I'm going to lose it.
