See them all the time on the store shelf. Are they just for soup?

Well, they will empty out the Baptist Church faster than yelling fire.

Baked beans, mix them in with butter beans, kidneys, pintos, northerns and your fav cooking mixture, nummmmm
or
refry them and wrap them up with fresh chopped green onions and tomatoes and a little shredded cabbage, squeeze on a little lime and pour on the tabasco
or
boil them slow for several hours with onions, jalapenos, tomatillos, salt and red pepper, and just the smallest bit of sugar, till they are mush and use them as a really thick gravy on biscuits, cornbread, or a dip for corn chips or french bread dip
or
same thing but serve it with a tomato topenade and roasted garlic with thin sliced baggette bread on the side.

Black beans are a little nuttier in taste than pintos or kidneys, berry berry gooooood

I believe they're an excellent source of fiber. Just make sure you're near a bathroom.

Well, for starters, you can power your pick-up with them! ;-)>>>

My favorite is to cook until tender with some ham hock, and serve over rice with diced, fresh onion on top. YUMMMM!

Eat them beans every meal!

My wifes Aunt made a good dish with black beans and rice and some other stuff. I think it was a cuban dish.
