I dont know much about chicken...that is why i'm asking this question.
I have a hen that had about 11 eggs a couple of weeks ago..she has been sitting on them..and everyday i go check on her a couple of them are broken or just moved..now she is down to 2 eggs. I have a rooster in the pen with her, could the rooster be breaking the eggs??? thanks for your help.

We had the same problem with a couple of our hens. One was actually pecking them open and then eating them, shell and all.
We were told to spread some crushed oyster shells in the lot. It must have worked, cause the hen stopped doing it.

Could be the rooster, or the hen may just be a little too rough. We had better luck incubating ours instead of letting the hens set them. If they aren't hatched in 21 days the aren't going to.
