RET., where you located? I have a 14 horse that you can have free for the come and get it. needs maybe 100 dollars worth of work to be servicable. Went and bought a new 22 horse. Can't see the old one going to complete waste if it will help someone out. Email me if interested. I'm located south of joliet ILL.

Ret- Mudcat has some real good advise. Them older 8 to 10 horse riders can be bought for little money.

An alternative is to get you some sheep and let them take care of the mowing and trimming for 'ya. IHank

Lets see? about 2/3 of a acre, and the house takes up part of it. Get a push mower, the workout is great.(they even come self propelled) But if you must have a rider, 8 to 10 hp is plenty, and 36 to 42 inch cut is fine also, A Snapper rear engine rider will work great!

thanks for the offer for your mower, I am in N Virginia. Incidently, house does not take up part of it, am on 5 fact, that was a convervative estimate. did not include the 200x 60 in the front. Now, if you can tell me how to get rid of the hornets and bumblebees that frequent this place, I will forgive you. Happy Easter
