Raie,
I have read the responses to your request for help.
I am not qualified to council you on your reasons for moving, nor how to raise you children.
I do not have a desire to know the reasons for your divorce or move. I am not Dr. Laura,,,,

NOW!!!!!!! My offer of help still stands, I don't have any idea if we can be of help.
You asked for help and Donna and I are willing to do what ever we can, as people, aquaintences, and net neighbors.
Please feel free to get ahold of us if there is anything we can do.
There are many statistics available on the web through some of the realators. These include crime, school ratings, cost of living, and property values.
Good Luck,
Without advice, or judgement.
Ron and Donna

Ron, can my family and I stay at your place for awhile, since you are helping everybody, we won't be much of a problem, we'll only stay a few weeks, we eat only 3 meals a day, and only need to be entertained for about 12-14 hrs a day.
Just kidding, our house here is like being on vacation everyday, I don't want to leave it, except to go to the beach or something.
Not that its close to you or anything, I was born in Canonnsburg, PA. Grandparents had a turkey farm there for along time, pretty well known to that side of the state, Polansky's Turkey Farm. I love going back to the "farm", I only wish everybody feels as comfy at my house,as everybody felt at the "farm".
Thats nice of you to help Raie, if you can.

hi i read yesterdays comments on your request for advice i agree with most that both parents involvenment in the children lives should be considered ,( providing theres no abuse of any kind). however one thing i know ,i grew up on main street of a small city, an have spent the last 22yrs. of my life in the country, while both were an invaluable learning experience for me, i certainly prefer the country way of life and seldom go to town excep for necessary things like doctors etc.i have it all here ,every thing that i want. i wouldn,t condem the life i had in the city ,life is what you make of it whereever you are but it sure is good in the country.i think parenting is the most important aspect in raising children not location, an i was fortunate to have wonderful parents that instilled values in me, that served me well through life,s journeys. good luck ,hope you find what your seeking . later ger
