Aren't you all going to reply with the nastiest phrases in your vocabularies?

You all missed my point. What I meant to say was that I thought that some of you, especially BOSS, were a bit hard on the fellow trying to sell the saw. I have NOTHING against the people on the Farmall board concerning this post. I probably should have said nothing, but, I didn't.

BOSS    Posted 08-10-2002 at 21:56:00       [Reply]  [No Email]
The dude is spamming the board nothing more, at first he tried to tug at our hearts with going on vacation story, then with his back child support payments, not even mentioning his whole shop for sale. Now the saw is sold, hes trying to unload a whole shop of Dewalt tools ?????? Come on, Can't you see what hes doing ?? This would be the perfect place to unload tools, bunch of DIYs? We love tools !!!! what a better place to try to sell them. Don't get suckered in to this spam, they do it everywhere on the net. No biggy if you don't agree, but I've seen it time and time again. I can pick these salesmen out of a crowd.

I was rereading the original posts, and I saw that I missed a sentence in the spammer's and two words ('and yourself') in yours. I now believe that EIEIO was in the right and I was entirely in the wrong. I'm sorry. Hopefully I won't be posting rashly in the future (or better still not at all).

Rereading your post I objected to earlier, I now see that I probably misinterpreted it too. And yes, it does seem that he is only interested in selling stuff.

No problem bubba. It was nice of you to stick up for him though, when so many were "attacking" him. Your OK !

What they do over there has nothing to do with this board. stop and think how usefull this board would be if it was full of spammers. most of us don't care what happens on the other YT boards because this is where we spend the most time, if it bothers you so much click on the link below and make your statement.

This is from the top of the page of the bulliten boards on YT "This is a moderated discussion board. No Advertising of any kind is allowed here. This includes For-Sale and Wanted-To-Buy items. Use the classified ads page for these."
Nuff Said!

Am I missing something here??

Slo    Posted 08-10-2002 at 14:02:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
Why on earth do you want to slam a guy who doesn't want to spend $600 on 2 new tires, and would prefer to buy 1 used tire instead?

Seems like he ain't the one who should get the nasty reply here....

LH    Posted 08-10-2002 at 14:54:46       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'm in the same boat trying to find a decent 38 inch tire for the Massey Hurtis. A new one is $275 from the local dealer plus $25 for a tube. I think I'll let it set until I can find a decent used one.

Go to Gemplers and see if they have a tire reliner in the size you need. If the side wall is ok in your old tire the reliner will work ok.

Thanks Ira, but my sidewall disintegrated, thus the need for a new or good used tire.

It was just a thought. You'll have to try putting harness on your horses.
