I am looking to upgrade balers and am looking at a 270. Were they a good baler? If anyone has anything to say about them, good or bad, let me know please. I've never seen a 270 so I am just wondering how good they were. Thanks, Brandon

I have a 273 NH and it works very well...
My old baler was a 67 Hayliner NH and it baled faithfully for 30 years...

Brandon:

I don't have any experience with NH balers, had two Massey-Fergusons and wouldn't wish 'em on my worst enemy (well, maybe my **worst** one). My neighbors all swear by NH balers, I've never heard any bad about 'em.

I'd suggest you go to the link I've pasted below and ask your question. They're a bunch of good folks who know implements, I suspect somebody there can tell you all about the 270, and why or why not to get one.

good luck!
Tom
