Spent the entire day getting maters, washing etc jars, and canning. Only got 2 bushels done and got 2 more to go tomorrow, Would have finished but Mark, NOT ME, (no matter what he says) got too tired. Festus, Fawteen and Hogman, Sir, thanks for the truly true stories. I needed that after the tomatoes. Sitting here listening to the pops of lids sealing. This is one winter we fer sure won't run out of food when we get snowed in. See ya'll manana, Rachel (who feels like a hobo tonite)

Hogman, dear Sir, you are indubitably correct, as always. The tomato vitamins have been highly sucessful and Mark has been canning away all afternoon after working at his place of business all day. I do thank you so much for the fine advice. Your literary genius is outstanding and also quite astounding, in the Barnum and Bailey design. I look forward to much, much more. Yours in wading boots, Rachel THE hobo of hobohill
