We had rain overnight and up til about noon !!! Real hard downpours at times. Roads were covered on the way to work. Don't know how much we got - probley not alot by the gauge but it's the first measureable rain we've had here in SE Mass since sometime in early June. It is VERY VERY dry here. Everything is dried up. Can't figure why no one is even talking about it whereas the rest of the country gets noticed when it's slightly dry or wet. The heat and humility has been terrrible too. Most everyday for the past month or so has been in or near the mid 90's to over 100. Nights have been mostly 75-85 and humid.

Getting real tired of it !! Today was a REAL pleasant change. Almost forgot what rain felt like !
