Peaches -- big recipe for jam??

Friend just gave me 3 bushels of ripe peaches. I don't have enough fridge space to keep them cold, and I don't want them to spoil. I was thinking of canning some (we always put up 15 qts or so) but don't have enough time to carefully can them all. So jam looks like a quick and easy alternative, but the only recipe I see only makes 4 pts and warns you not to double the recipe or else it won't set. Will take a lot of batches to use up 3 bushels!

Does anybody have a bigger peach jam recipe...or else any good ideas for preserving a lot of peaches without buying a big dryer?

Tom, we peel and pit and slice ours, then we put them in ziplock bags and freeze.
We put a little FRUIT FRESH on them to preserve the color and when we thaw them the taste as close to fresh from the tree as we are able to find.
