Absolutely nothing good about us Yankees.
Please stay home.
Less traffic on my road that way, eh?

Yep, know what you mean - glad i'm in CENTRAL Minnesota!
BTW, our neighbor lived right on the Wisconsin border, claimed he wasn't sure which state he was in so he never payed taxes. The revenue boys finally surveyed his place and told him Welcome to Wisconsin. He was so relieved - didn't figure he could stand those Minnesota winters! LOL

New Yorkers say - "I'm a New Yaker who lives on thoidy toid (thirty third)street and toid (third)Avenue." A Bostonian would say "Paak(park) the caa (car)in Havaad (Harvard) Yaad (Yard)." Bostonians are the true Yankees, despite the fact that the New York Yankees are located in the Southern part of Yankee territory.

There is always someone in the crowd that seems to want to start slamming other people. Nobody is a northern or a southern. On this board we try to be ladies and gentlemen - well at least sometimes.

Cowboy Joe    Posted 08-25-2002 at 10:07:58       [Reply]  [No Email]
I totally agree. Haven't we have better things to worry about?

Well now I feel much better Gerry, even if everyone doesn't agree that The Greater Hogtown Area is the center of the universe, we likely all agree about this board being the center of our universe.:<)

Les...I'll have you know    Posted 08-24-2002 at 11:49:01       [Reply]  [No Email]
That the "center of the known universe" is Epping, New Hampshire (pronounced "eppin") LOL.
And, no, I don't live there but the people that do live there claim that it's true ";^)
