Hello, this is my first posting here and I am sure it wont be my last! Seems like a nice crowd gathers here with some good information so that is why I post this. I have a very old Remington mighty mite chain saw and I am looking for tune up specs for it. I have called all the shops in my area and no one has been able to help! Maybe someone here can. Thank you in advance, Jim, Warminster pa, Soon leaving this city life for good and going back to my roots....

I own a Mighty Mite and have the original owner's manual and illustrated parts list. However, I recently disassembled it to repair the gas tank, but the manual etc. doesn't call out the armature air gap. Oh well, I'd be glad to send you a copy of both if you would like.

You might be able to try the bulletin board at the link below if you get no help here, you can also look up the model saw you have at the linked site as well.

I have several of the mighty mites..I need some coils..It seems it is weak point on these saws.I am very pleased with power, weight, rpms etc. I cannot understand why they stopped production???Do you know who manufactured these saws for remington????
