I'm sorry I bothered you all and I'm sorry for getting defensive. I promise not to post horses on here and hope you have a good one.

Don't know what time you checked the board but it will take awhile with the horsey posts - over 50 some responses to the first one.

What a day this has been!!!

Don't know about horses 'brands', I can only ride them:-))) I started reading the 'add' but got bored...I mean, don't get me wrong,I found out that ppl here get on their horses on fridays and saturdays nights and meet in different spots to exchange experiences and all...I would love to join them but i wouldn't know how to get back home after a 'couple' of beers...lol

Wow, turn my back for a couple of days and...

Well, anyway, I wouldn't consider $3500 a "rescue" price. Not to keep fanning the flames here, but have you actually looked at what real equine rescue operations do? I've been involved in animal rescue for about ten years now, and $3500 is a few thousand dollars beyond killer prices, which are running about .60 lb right now, regardless of bloodlines. If you are very sincere about finding him a good home, rather than profiting from his situation, I hope you will consider donating him to a rescue group that will work full time to find an appropriate home for a stallion. Or even consider gelding him. Most okay stallions make even better geldings, and most people do not have what it takes to own and handle a stallion, which limits the possibilities for his new home greatly. Bloodlines are fine as far as they go, but they're still only names on paper. You can't ride bloodlines. :-)

At any rate, there are lots and lots of free classifieds on the web. Have you tried dreamhorse.com or equineclassifieds.com or any of the others? They will get you a better response than spamming a family-type talk board such as this. Spam is unsolicited "commercial" email, by definition. There would have been no problems here or elsewhere had you adhered to that small yet important rule of netiquette.

We post about horses here frequently. Posting about horses was not the problem. Posting spam was, along with all the subsequent kneejerk reactions. JMHO, and I wish you every success in finding him a loving, appropriate home.
