Hi Milo,
We spent better part of 30 years just north of San Fernando Valley in Santa Clarita Valley (sounds better than Saugus), raised the kids there, worked as far south as Long Beach. Now we're in Minnesota again. Around here you hear a shot, you hope somebody got something! Down there you make sure your parts work.

Body can take pride in bein a surviver of any length of time in that area.I shucked out of Long Beach in 85 not sure why I hung around that long, retired in 78. Guess it was just tha almighty holdin Me there waitin for Maw hog ta find Me.

from S/W Mo. Glad ta have Ya. Plumas Co? Recon if I had absolutely NO place left on Earth,(no offense),except Cal it'ud have ta be up in Your neck of tha woods'er else I'd just take off My boots'n walk over ta Catalina and have it done with.

Worked for tha City of Long Beach for 30 Years, even thought about retirin in El Darody Co near "Hangtown" but tha crud started flowin in from Sac' and I sold tha property. Realy too bad, some pretty country there if it was'nt for people blight.

Anyway,welcome ta tha "Wild Bunch".

Yeah , I checked the word in the dictionary,there are some inflected forms also and the translation into spanish is 'bribon',but I don't feel so good today,my intelectual-mode went into a sabbatica ,going back to bed.
