Been surfing around since 4:30 this morning looking for a good truck driver music site. Found a few, but nothing that compares to the radio ranch. If you know of any would you mind posting the addy's? Might be a good thing to add some to your own sight.

Okie, one that is on daily is based out of cincinatti ohio, the flagship station is WLW (700 AM) and the midnight to 5:00 A.M. show is the trucking bozo. Much country music and truck driving talk.
He is also simulcast(sp??) around the country, you can do search on truckin bozo, or bozo and get a station list.

I havent ran the road for almost like8 yrs and i remember many a night being kept awake by the trucking bozo,,,, I remember losing him going into another state too, or just at the time i really needed to stay awake, naa just kidding on th staying awake part that was always,{learn to drive see the country make lots of money} I loved it when I did it saw lots and was lucky enough to even stop and see some of it,,,, until I thought it was time to buy my own hahaha,,,, glad to hear that the program is still on the air,,,,, and you know what sometimes I even miss running the road until I think of the crowded truckstops, crowded rest areas, blabber mouths on the radio {cb},no sleep, deadlines, bright sunny EARLY mornings heading east, chicken houses, bartonsville truckstop, etc...., wow I guess I really dont miss it that much, have a great day

Ron/PA / GEEZZ PAT, YOU WENT AN LEFT ALL THAT FUN?    Posted 09-08-2002 at 02:50:06       [Reply]  [Send Email]
I know what you mean about buying your own, been there, done that, bought the tee shirt (thats about all I could afford)
I came off the road a few years ago but couldn't adjust to regular jobs and hours and I had to work to support my habit (farming grin) so I went to running local, first fuel then water, so I don't hear bozo anymore either. New truck has crappy AM. I still pass bartonsville daily and hear all the crap, but I can smile and ride on by cause I'm gonna be home for the night.
See ya

O-D What were you doing up so late at 4:30 am? Hope it wasn't insomnia? I know there are a few all-night trucker's radio shows. Since I don't follow that kind of format or music, I would suggest doing an internet search under truck driving/drivers radio or music.
