Hi All,

Don't post often but visit at least once a day. Mid-afternoon here, low 90's, about 50% humidity. Years back when we poured a slab, there was 'just a dab' left on the truck and a friend and I thought it would go well in the ditch on the downstream end of my road pipe. We made sure there was 'plenty' of fall when we spread it. NOT!! It's been nothing but a headache for long enough that I borrowed a demo hammer from work and am breaking the mistake out today. I'm taking a break and drying out a bit right now. I'd hate to think of doing this without the hammer. Thank goodness for electricity and long ext. cords!! I think the breaking is pretty much over, now just the loading and hauling remains. I guess it's all a good character-building experience. So, what's everybody else doing today?

My hard disk went berserk so i thought I'd be bound for silence for the rest of my saturday, but my knight in shining armor came to my rescue [Gerrit wouldn't share his comp ] and installed internet in my new laptop. The thing is that it takes me an hour to hit a single link with this mouse. So this is how I spent my saturday, well is not over yet, here is 8:35pm, or 20:35,night's young, I'll get there....

My Saturday is perfect! Talked Cliff into spending lots of money to take me to see Travis Tritt last night, and today we went to a tractor show at Booneville. How much more perfect can a weekend be?

Dragged Dennis to Yard Sales, he is now resting after the trauma. Came home had to reset the pig's waterer. Next week that will be one chore I will no longer have. Every morning I make sure that have a nice cool mud hole, almost every afternoon they tip the darn waterer over take out all the rocks, move everything around and redecorate the place. Next time I am going to really investigate what makes the best waterer for pigs. Kraig was showing us his when we visited and I think Dennis is going to have to copy it. Sure was neat in more ways than one.

Just have dinner to make and feed the critters one more time tonight and than I can rest. I told Dennis yesterday after we fed the critters at night it reminded me when the kids were little. Once they were fed, bathed and in bed I felt that I could finally breath easy for the rest of the evening.

Well that is about it for now, just wish it would cool down just a little.

I had intentions of splitting up fahrwood with my VAC mounted splitter. Time I got my ambition up, it was too blamed hot. So I took the grandkids on a tractor ride over to the neighbor's place and helped them lug a bunch of stuff for tomorrow's church picnic.

Not much better, here in central PA. Hogs are scheduled to go on tuesday so I thought I better think about a new loading chute today.
Thought about it, started it, still don't like it, and am now thinking about sherry and genny!!!
If I start that I know I will finish it,,,,,
Oh well back out to the labor,
