What was the pig's name on the Green Acres TV show ?

Why I'm asking this weird question is that last weekend, my old buddy Rufus Windrow and I were introduced to a fellow for the first time. He was only introduced by his first name and then Rufus asked him what his last name was. He said it was the same as the pig on the Green Acres TV show (almost as if everyone would know what the name was). We chuckled a bit with him and let things go but it's been eating away at me so I'm asking the question. When I find out from you guys here, I'll call up Rufus and let him know (since he doesn't have a computer to find out like me). Thanks for the help.

Actually, his REAL name was Armondo Leftbank Le Blanc. It is a lttle known fact that he spoke little or no english since he was born to French immigrant pigs in Quebec, Canada. On the show he was given instructions in Pig Latin, a language both he and the director were fluent in. He came from a long line of show business pigs. His father, Herkimer Le Blanc, was a well known circus pig in nothern Europe in the 50s. His mother was a model for Pigs Unlimited, Ltd. a non profit organization for the preservation of Pig culture. So, the fellow you met might be named Le Blanc. Hope this helps.

What was the pig's original name (not the "real" name)?

Didja know Arnold/Armondo's Mom REALLY got her start modeling for Pigtoria's Secret catalogs?

Her career was cut short when she tripped over a photoflood cable and the bulb shorted out on her 8-cup underwire bra. Scarred her for life, it did, straightened her tail plumb out, and if you'll check, you'll notice that she hasn't been seen in anything with a plunging neckline since...

Arnold Ziffel played the pig Arnold. I checked it out on the Green Acre Site - they also have the complete theme song.
