Ever since we moved into this house we have been working hard trying to cut down and dig up the stumps of some 67 apple trees that were planted all along the sides of our drive. When the weather broke and cooled down yesterday, I decided to start working at it again. Well what do ya think happened, but hear comes a fellow from down the street with a backhoe and offers to do all that diggin' and pullin for me. Then says that's what neighbors are for and I figured today was a day to try to be a good one. It felt like Christmas! Now it's my turn to pass it along.
