I am trying to find this book which was very helpful as I was raising my children. My daughter is going to Africa for 3 years as a missionary and this book covers a lot of the things she may have to learn. Like making cheese, making lye soap, drying meats, and of course the regular canning and drying garden produce.

You're never gonna believe this!!! I have a copy of the book you are looking for. It was published by Ortho Books in 1975. You are welcome to it, just send me mailing address. Pat

Ruby, are you positive on the title?Bullheaded netjunkie I am,I tried about everywhere, including Library of Congress,to find some info on this title w/o any success. If you cannot locate it,I would recommend the "Foxfire" series of books, often available at used book dealers for less than "new" cost.Believe theres 8-9 books, based on information gathered from elderly folks on the"old ways" of doing things.
