nursing my sore shoulder. Went to the Doctor today to have a shot of cortesone(sp?) put in it. He said I sould take the night off work. So here I am. Gotta go down in a few minutes and let a sow back in with her pigs. I weaned the other pigs from their mothers earlier tonight. After moving a few things around, like feeders and water tanks, now I wish I would have waited until morning. I guess I'll never learn. Oh,BTW EIEIO,isn't Fetcher a strange name for a baby? :-)

Larry take care of the shoulder as Tammy said, I do the same with my back and than feel like heck and wonder why I did it again. I too hate sitting and I don't do too well until I get like ger where I just can't move anymore. Take care, put ice on it for about 30 minutes it usually helps a little. Better to rest for a few days than be laid up for several weeks - but than look who is giving advice. I am a great one for giving it but not taking it. Ask Dennis!!

Tylnal#3 make me sick to the stomach.I still hace some Roxicondon(morfine) from some years ago. I only use them like right now. I couldn't go out and do anything if I took one,so I don't take them very often. I see they don't help my splleing very much, but you know what. I raelly don't care right now. :-)

I usually take diclofinac for arthritis twice a day. If I take anything else, like tylonal, I get all puffy in my hands and feet. What happened to your leg anyway?.

ger    Posted 09-13-2002 at 20:22:15       [Reply]  [No Email]
its my back an i get back and bad leg pains and have some arthrits in it now too

Larry    Posted 09-13-2002 at 22:01:37       [Reply]  [Send Email]

Have you tried any of the new drugs they have now? Like Viox or Celebex. All the Tylonal 3 does is mask the pain.

Larry    Posted 09-13-2002 at 22:16:57       [Reply]  [Send Email]

The back pain almost sounds like a pinched nerve. Is there anything they can do for that at least?

ger    Posted 09-13-2002 at 22:29:08       [Reply]  [No Email]

This is the third or forth time I had this done. But this is a differant Doctor. The other Doctors weren't real sure what might be wrong with it. So they sent me to this guy. He is a sports Doctor who specializes in shoulder pain. He put the injection right in the A/c joint, that's the one at the end of your collar bone. He said that if that didn't help he would try injecting the bicept tendon. But he seemed to think this should do the trick. If not he said he might have to do some surgery and trim off the end of the collar bone where it rubs the shoulder blade. I'm not real keen on anymore surgery. I've been under the knife nine times so far in my life. Most of it done after I had lost my right leg twenty six years ago.

Fawteen - I do the same thing    Posted 09-13-2002 at 17:41:51       [Reply]  [No Email]
with my back. Just makes me nuts to sit on my fat fundament when there's work needs doing. In the long run, I'd be better to take it easy for 48 hours, but about 48 minutes is all I can take...

Tammy-E TX    Posted 09-13-2002 at 17:30:37       [Reply]  [No Email]
Hope your shoulder gets to feeling better. What better to do then to sit and enjoy friends while killing time! Take care of that shoulder.
