What can I give Soloman for pain right now...I will take him to the vet tomorrow, but he is in pain. Thank you, Lana

Lana, I just posted two pictures of my wifes dog after a german shepard got it. She made a full recovery. The vet said we could give her a baby asprin, but she only weighs 6lbs.

hi lana just got back in from doin chores an checked on tylenol drops , iwouldn,t give even the baby stuff because of the acetaminophen even in low does it can be harmful to pets

lana the other thing you might do is give him a bit of gravol to help him sleep through the night , i don,t know how much you would give him as i don,t know his weight but just go easy , it will help him sleep till morning until you can get him to the vet, later ger

lana don,t give him acetaminophen or ibuprofen as both are dangerous for dogs , so don,t give that i,m reading my vet book here , will continue in a sec k

Acetaminophen is what tylonal is made of. So I guess childrens tylonal would be out.

your probably right i used it years ago , to help one of my shelties, just get thru the night , we were losing her an had to wait for the vet , we tried to mekae her as comfortable as possible, till then

it says you can give him buffered asprin for relieving minor aches and pains, give one-quater of a 325 millgram tablet for every ten pounds of pooch once or twice a day,it says buffered asprin is easier on the stomach, i also think i gave one of my dogs liquid baby tylenol at on time , but it was long ago an i can,t remember much more about it just that i used a eye dropper to give it to her, hope this helps . ger
