Notice where last July Sen Tom Daschle got S DAKOTA exempted from all regulations and law suits re cuttin timber for fire prevention.
Slipped it inta tha Defense Suplemental spendin bill.
Is'nt this tha same Tom D that tried ta place S.D. in control of tha MO River just a while back?????

Something has to be done about the way the Government runs the Black Hills National forest.
I live in the Black Hills and you look all around my place and see nothing but black tree stumps. They wont let anybody clean it up so you got plenty of fuel for next years fires. I spend half the summer breathing smoke. Now I got to clean up my pasture cause there is nothing to keep the burnt stuff from the forest that washes onto it when it rains.

This is my pasture do to lack of forest management.

Kraig no argument as ta tha need atall, not none noway! My point is tha "Hurray for Me I got mine and F tha rest of tha timber States"! attitude on tha Senators part. Theres more worth in tha world'n buyin votes on tha home front and He could have designated all needy areas. Tha more so since it was slipped in under tha door so ta speak. For that matter with such sneaky stuff as that He may get a Senate bill passed makin tha (DELETED) tha new Nat Emblem. Now that would be a worthy, worthwhile --------
