Coaltrain - Glad you got the info you were looking for. I met Red Steagall at a roping jackpot tournament in Houston back in 1986; recorded an interview with him for broadcast. Back in the good old days he used to record western swing and rodeo honky-tonk. Now it's mostly poems and cowboy gospel. I wish he would get back to his roots in western swing. His Lone Star Beer & Bob Wills Music LP recorded back in the 1970's was one of the finest western swing/honk-tonk records ever released.
