What is ACMOC? I read your reply in 'crawlers'
but that has been some time ago... thought I'd see you here before over there. Can't seem to find your email address around here.

Did you get caught up in your fight with them groundhogs? Mike

Hi Mike, I'm here lurking awhile almost everyday. I *usually* don't post unless I"ve got something to say :-)

Right now I'm drawing a blank on both ACMOC and 'crawlers' but if you'll send me a link or more to go by it'll probably hit isn't that early but I must have the Saturday morning "fuzzy brain syndrome."

Got rid of all the groundhogs at the time, but yesterday I saw one had moved in again under my implement shed, so I guess it's time to do battle again. No one thing worked, had to use a bunch of tools from havahart trap to shotgun to smoke bombs to .22WMR for longer range shots.

take care,

Well just one ain't too bad. We had a groundhog family reunion under our apple tree a few weeks ago. The only thing they didn't do was set up tables. To their credit, they cleaned the place up good after they were through. I decided to play some rap music to them, but that just brought up a flock of buzzards. Just can't win sometimes. Have you seen the Hornaday .17 rimfire?

I slipped the left track off of our crawler. Posted a question on the YT site in the crawler forum. Tom A answered the post with some advice and mentioned ACMOC. SOme time has past, so I thought I'd ask you about it here. Another Tom A. out there somewhere.

Well, looks like a terrific weekend. Good luck on all your plans. Hope we get rain very soon. Mike

Tom A -- got it! AMCOC    Posted 09-21-2002 at 07:01:28       [Reply]  [No Email]
It must have been another Tom A (hard for me to imagine) but AMCOC in that context is:

Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club, ACMOC.

Glad your groundhogs cleaned up after their picnic, mine have never been very considerate.
