In Southern Illinois we have a monument to King Neptune, a hog who was auctioned many times with the purchase price donated for war bonds. The winning bidder would pay his bid and donate the hog back where it would be sold again, over and over. King Neptune raised an unbelievable sum of money for the war effort. The marker was originally his tombstone, but had to be moved to a rest area because of frequent vandalism. If I wasn't so computer stupid, I'd post a picture of his monument.

Paul, posting a picture isn't that hard. If you have it on your computer, just open an account at an online site and send the pic. Then post the url of the pic in the image slot below the message box.

In My memory of 33 the life of a hog could mean the life of a family combined with the desire to care for one of Gods critters.
We still have many good people it's just seems a little harder to find Them.
