Pig transport

Need major help here..have to transport abotu 100 potbelly and potbelly cross pigs from our Sanctuary here in Fort Myers across the state to Bunnell,,,just North of Daytona beach,,,bout 250miles...anyone know of anybody with a LARGE horse trailer or livestock trailer that does this...hopefully low cost?

I got a pig roaster with wheels... one at a time will take a while but imagine the party we could have with 250 pigs!

HI all..thansk for your responses..we have a large potbelly pigs sanctuary here adn we have to close mainly beciase of mone and health reasons..we also have a place to keep the pigs about 250 miles form here if we can get them there. I have been looking and contacting peopple about the availablity of stock trailers,but no luck so far...either they are busy or they want up to $3a mile...kinda expensive right now...you can visit out website at

John, I can't help with your transport problem. I do have one question, What will you do with 100 potbellied pigs? I assume that you are not intrested in sending them to market. Really none of my business but my curiosity got the best of me.

Did you finally find someone to give them to that wouldn't eat them? Can't say I will ever understand that, but more power to ya.

Call up the sale barn and ask them for the tel.# of the livestock hauler they like the best. They will be insured, bonded, and get the job done as quick as possible.
