Hi there Dave,
I would love to have lunch with you next week, but I live in Adelaide which is about 450 miles west of Port Melbourne. Now if you were doing business in Port Adelaide the story would be much different. If you have some time up your sleeve and some spare cash it is a 50 minute flight to Adelaide which would cost about US$90 for the return journey. Then I could show you a real livable city. There's a fair bit of rivalry between Adelaide and Melbourne, and we South Australians say that the best way to see Melbourne is through the rear vision mirror in your car. Anyhow you have a safe and happy trip and should you want to see Adelaide my phone number from within Australia is 0882984631.
Best wishes
Craig H......

We'll be in Victoria for 3 weeks which should be enough time to see your Spring coming in. I'll have to travel up to Sydney for a few days in between but I don't know when. Trouble is, I'll be used to drivin' on the WRONG side of the ROAD!

We went to Adelaide once from Melbourne, drove off a half-tank of petrol (got clear out by Ballarat or somewhere) and asked how long it would still take to get there - the fella reckoned about 8 hours! Jeez! Didn't look that far on the map. So we fell in line behind a guy doing about 160 kliks, turned the Falcon's burners on and sure enough - it was after dark when we arrived. It's a long road but straight. :)

I've been to Alberta Can, and in all but 6 states. I have lived in 7 states, but I haven't made it into Mexico nor across either pond.
