Our 2 year old and me went up to the farm store. Before we could get back it rained. We have not had rain for a long time. When we stopped at the hay shed to unload some things he said: "Ummm, mells good" Now that might not mean much to some people, but to me...

Makes ya proud don't it. My 2 year old has a fit when he sees a tractor. He yells out "tractac!!" or something to that effect.

Everytime my little boy sees a tractor he starts saying "Da Da". Makes me happy just thinking and talking about him! Can't wait to get home and squeeeeeeeze him!

I'm no kid anymore and not in the best shape and not always friendly so it's pretty rare for a kid to pay me any mind, but i was checking out at the grocery store one day and a little tyke in the cart ahead of me took one look at me, stretched out his arms and yelled "DaDa!" like i was just returning from overseas or something. What could i do? So i said "Don't you go starting any rumors young fella - i got enough troubles already!"

Poor confused little sh!t! but he WAS cute :)
Here's a peek at a page we're getting ready for Christmas :)

Hope you are keeping a journal of what the little ones say. It is wonderful when you get my age and can look back and enjoy those moments again.

Thanks for sharing! Could be we have a future farmer.

Enjoy and savory every moment of it....They are only little once. We have raised four, stayed
home to be there for all four. Do not regret
that at all.
