48 Volts batteries

Is there a use for a big rack of TEN 48volt batteries. with chargers. These were out of a telephone company back up system. These are used but have about 25-30% of there storage life left in them. Give me some ideas of what else I could use them for.

geting some solar panels an hook them into that an use it for what ever you need, if there free

Just what they were intended for...Backup Power.

Hook them into your existing home electrical and just wait for the power to go out.

Course you will have to hook up some kind of AC/DC inverter/convertor...but that should be only about $30,000 so you will save some money in payback by 2050 or so...
