Since I've already given my age, and have read all your secrets on this board for a couple of months, I figure you deserve to see what my tractor-loving husband and I look like. Got the pictures posted.

You sure got the right brand of tractor in that picture. Who's the old goat in the picture with you ";^) Must be a reason he keeps that hat on.

Is there any wrong brand of tractor? My husband's main tractor is an Allis D-17, and we have an Allis WC, restored, that he takes to shows. He also has a Farmall H spiffied up fit to kill. And then we have a Farmall M and a cub waiting in the wings, not to mention another H that was drowned in the Flood of '93. There's also the John Deere 520... but who's counting? We list our tractors as dependents on our income tax forms!

No, I guess there ain't no wrong brand of tractor but there's some I would put further down on the list. I'm a little partial to Cases because that's the first old one that I bought. I grew up on a Farmall C. This year's purchase was a beautiful Farmall M.
I looked at a D17 at an auction earlier this year. I ain't got nothin against Allis Chalmers. Fact I even got a little B310 with a mower deck and a rototiller which I like very much. Had it for almost 20 years. I think it's a '70.

You look great !    Posted 10-09-2002 at 17:40:29       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Can't believe your age,you must be a happy woman, either that or you have everything under control.Or both.

Thanks Donna, everyone in this ol' state is across the state from me! And I never go further than 20 miles, so guess I'm just a stay at home sorta person. Pretty country out your way.

Donna,
I didn't see your picture, I'm assuming you posted it in the photo gallery I just located. It says there is a 24 hour window that it is queud for, but I can find the one I just posted on there.
Maybe we can see our own right away, or maybe yours didn't work correctly?
