Makes me think. them young neighbors pulled the plastic bumpper off thet new car of thers. they overshot the road goin in to ther place. Parked that all wheel dive Auti on the cuvert pipe sort of sideways and headlong. Looks like they wus agoin too fast agin. Glad non of them little kids warnt near to it when it happened. Wonder what them people are in so big a hurry for? Do they think they are bein chased? He borrowed my 3/8 log chain. Before I could figger out what he needed it for he had tugged the Auti near in half with thet tractor he mows with. When we got to them she wus a bawlin like a lost calf, but just sad an not hurt none. By the time we left them we had had a hot toadie with them an they was a laughin about it. I told them I don't understand anyone speedin to work. Now getting home, its always downhill when I'm drivin home. It was sure downhill when they hit that gravel sideways and fast like. The culvert is flatter that it ever ought to be. The bottom of thet car looks cat scratched. Slow down and live you young'ns out there. Ain't worth dyin over.

Well Noddle, problem is they stay up half the night watchen wall street TV so they know how much money they lost in thier stock potfolio. Then they can't git out of bed until the last minute and half to drive 110 so they git to work on time. Hey Ron, if them yups missed one day they couldn't eat fer two fer lack of funds, gotta keep that broker happy you know. They has problems with the gravel roads around here, seems they think of them curves like the freeway exit ramp. Hard to pull 2Gs on a dirt road cepten when yer bouncen of the ditch banks. Think'en bout gitten me a used ford 'splorer, heck the junkyards are full of wrecks an parts outa be cheap, whatdaya think?

Noodle, My rule of thumb for driving truck is:
My truck can't get out of my driveway in 3 inches of snow.
My truck can run through 2 feet of snow to get home.
Dispatcher says HUHHHHH????????????

Always wondered why old blue Ford truck gets stuck in its own shadow - then one day we crossed a ditch and got stuck in 4 dents of wet grass, so we started prying with a popple pole to fill the dents. That day we learned the front end weighs about twice as much as the back end, that's why!(don't get me started on the brilliance of Detroit:)

Point is: Ifn ya want to increase the Saturdays in your life, drive a Ford! :)

well if ya were usin that truck like it was meant to be used the back would outweigh the front for sure, thats why so many yuppies need 4 wheel drive, they never actualy have any weight in the back of there shiney trucks, seems a few grocery bags is all they ever carry lol but in all honesty i agree that most trucks are very nose heavy, i have an f350 crew cab( thank god its 4wd cause with that long wheelbase it dont go anywheres when its empty in 2wd), then i got my ford 600, that is one nose heavy truck, with that 429 industrial under the hood it will sink the front tires up to the axle before you even see the mud! and like ya were saying about yuppie driving etiquet, dont ya hate them yuppies that just have to pass ya when your only doing 20 up a narrow road with a heavy truck, man they will squeeze by wherever they can, i had one meet up with me going the opposite way on a narrow road while i was towing my hay bailer with my dump truck, i was halfway over a narrow bridge, and he was pissed cause i wanted him to back up instead of me, im sure that little bmw he was in backed up alot easier than a 12 ton truck and a haybaler.
