Poulan chains

I have a friend that uses old poulans to cut wood with and needs a chain for his saw. He can not find any because the chain goes on a 4 to 5 foot bar. I don't really know if age matters with that size saw but they are around 25-35 years old. Does anyone know where to find chainsaw chains of that size?

Thomas,

Go to www.baileys-online.com. Everything that a
lumberjack would need, and then some!

Chainsaw chain comes in rolls...most of what you see at Lowe's(for example)is for a given length bar...a good saw dealer should be able to make any length you need. At that length... I would have to morgage the Ponderosa. LOL Take your old chain with you.

We have a local chain-saw repair guy that can make any size chain for any kind of saw. Do you have any repair shops around?
