Women Handlin' the Power Tools vs. Men Decorating the Country Home
[Return to Topics]

I can see where it could be upsetting if I were
to get into a man's power tools. But my husband
sees no reason why I should be upset with him
decorating our country home with his caps,
T-shirts, coffee mugs, vests, jackets, (freebie rewards from contractors he works for), baseball fan parking signs, collectible antique toys, farm toys, etc.
I thought the decorating part was for me, the
woman. In my parents' home, my dad didn't want
much to do with the house stuff--only if mom was
sick.

I guess I'm lucky in that regard. My husband says yes, dear and ignores me to his honeydo list but he also says yes, dear and ignores me to decorating the house too. He does have to have a place for his hats though. And, he does have the whole garage that he can decorate any way he wants. So, maybe I'll leave his power tools alone (for now anyways). Stay safe everyone!!

Woman you need to remember that a man's home is his castle, and he orta be able to decorate it any way he pleases :^)

whur tuh heck do wimmin think a fellers sposed to put that stuff??

If ye throw it in the floor on on a dresser they kick a flip, now I guess we can't use the walls anymore.

Dangummit men can't just keep them things in his pickup truck. That's fer empty empty oil jugs and jumper cables and things and would get them purdy free caps dirty.

That's exactly right, and even though they may tell us the garage or barn is ours to do with as we wish, first thing you know they gots all their extry shoes and stuff they aint usin fer this season packed in there, along with everythin else they is gonna get rid of in a garage sale in 30 er 40 years.

Yeah I know what you mean.

With 3 wimmins here I find wimmins shoes or drawers stored in everything that'll keep clothes dry in my sheds.
