B.S. Yes that's what it is is. M.S. More of the same. PHD. Piled High and Deep. Do not have anything against education. We all have obtained it one way or another. A fellow just told me about where he works they came out with a memo about using company computors for private use. He asked his boss does that mean that some of the things I get in my Email Iwant to read I can not forward to my home computor. His boss said no that is to stop people from playing games at their desk instead of working. Good grief what ever happened to firing people for goofing off. These are jobs that reguire degrees to get. Is that what is taught at our places of higher learning?

Well, I love learning, have several degrees and still go back and pick up subjects when I have time. I think the problem is lawyers. You can't fire people without getting a lawsuit back at you, looks to me like. Or some government agency thinks you have discriminated against someone. I know a person that goes and gets a job with a big company, does a lousy job, gets laid off and cries "discimination" until she gets paid off to shut up. She's done this three times that I know about. And it's illegal for companies to share her name. It's human nature, if you can get paid to not work, you don't work, you play. That's one reason the Soviet Union is no more. Something the U.S. should remember. (Just my humble opinion.)

Unfortunately, this is the way things have gone in the past few years. People like that may deserve to be fired but the replacement will most likely have the same mentality. That is, if a replacement is available. Good help is very hard to find these days.

I blame overbloated corperations with thier company stores. Back when the owner of the store was the manager, he would not put up with any crap at all. Now store managers more or less put their time in and get paid like the rest of the fodder. Sure there are a hundred other reasons but I don't much like huge national company stores so I will pick on them. Of course, it tickles me pink to see small internet busineses eat their lunch just like they did to the independant business owner.
